Shinhan Life and KT have signed a business agreement (MOU) to jointly promote the AI-based home workout platform HowFIT business model.

The two companies are planning to cooperate in promoting HowFIT and other joint projects. The first step was the decision to jointly develop the HowFIT service to be used on KT olleh TVs. This will start with cooperation in multiple fields including service planning, marketing, and exchange in media platforms and other digital services, amongst others.

HowFIT is an AI based home workout service developed jointly by Shinhan Life and iPIXEL. This provides coaching by analyzing users movement, counting the frequency of their exercises and providing feedback on their accuracy. This uses AI algorithms running on a smartphone and does not require additional wearable devices.
