Exercite Care,

AI-Powered Exercise Coaching Solution

Showcase at Global Healthcare Exhibitions

iPIXEL, a startup developing and operating “Exercite Care,” an AI-based exercise coaching solution, announced on the 25th that it will participate in several global healthcare exhibitions to expand into the global market.

Starting from October 1st, iPIXEL will be exhibiting at the HIMSS APAC and KHF events in Seoul, followed by GITEX in Dubai from the 14th and KIMES Busan in Busan from the 18th. At the iPIXEL booth, attendees can experience firsthand the AI motion recognition feature of Exercite Care. Developed in 2023, Exercite Care is an application designed to help patients in need of rehabilitation interventions such as home rehabilitation exercises or physical therapy.

The app enables users to easily follow and perform exercises prescribed by professionals, regardless of location. By integrating with the hospital’s electronic medical records (EMR), patients can directly follow the customized rehabilitation exercise programs prescribed by medical professionals within Exercite Care.

The company explained that with a database of over 2,200 exercise movements, AI can accurately analyze users’ movements in real time and provide precise coaching feedback.

Medical professionals can use Exercite Care to verify if patients are correctly performing the prescribed exercises and provide additional prescriptions based on the improvement.

Currently being utilized by some hospitals for rehabilitation exercise patients, Exercite Care allows users to connect their smartphones or tablets to a TV to view their own movements while performing rehabilitation exercises.

iPIXEL has received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the 9th 2024 4th Industrial Revolution Excellent Company Awards and has been selected as an app for LG Electronics’ smart TVs.

Lee Sang-soo, CEO of iPIXEL, stated, “Exercite Care has been developed to enable people to perform effective exercises with the help of professionals, even outside of hospitals or rehabilitation facilities. We hope to have many opportunities to communicate with medical professionals and hospital officials at the exhibition and lay the groundwork for global market entry.”
