[[HIMSS24 APAC] iPixel Demonstrates AI Rehabilitation Exercise Solution 'ExerciteCare'

Providing Patient-Customized Rehabilitation Exercise Programs Prescribed by Healthcare Professionals Real-Time Feedback on Movement Accuracy Without Privacy Concerns

[Raporsian] iPIXEL (CEO: Lee Sangsoo) will demonstrate its software, “ExerciteCare,” which uses artificial intelligence (AI) motion recognition technology to guide rehabilitation exercises, at the HIMSS24 APAC, the largest medical information technology conference in Asia, taking place at COEX, Seoul, from October 1 to 4.

ExerciteCare is a digital solution consisting of a smartphone app for patients and a management program for healthcare professionals. When a healthcare professional designs a customized exercise program for a patient who needs rehabilitation, the patient can execute it through their smartphone, enabling them to perform tailored rehabilitation exercises at home. In particular, the AI motion recognition technology applied in this solution operates in an on-device method, providing real-time feedback on movement accuracy without concerns about privacy exposure.

Additionally, the patient’s exercise data can be reviewed through the management program, allowing adjustments and improvements to be made based on the individual patient’s condition.

The company is in the process of obtaining approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to certify ExerciteCare as a digital therapeutic device based on this technological capability. Meanwhile, iPixel has received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the 9th Annual 2024 4th Industrial Revolution Excellence Awards. Additionally, iPixel gained significant attention by successfully launching its home fitness applications, ‘HowFit’ and ‘Exercite,’ based on AI motion recognition technology in 2021 and 2022. This recognition was further bolstered by their selection as an app for LG Electronics’ smart TVs, affirming their technological capabilities.
