iPIXEL Co., Ltd. (CEO: Sangsoo Lee) participated in the “2025 Homecare, Rehabilitation & Welfare Exhibition (Reha·Homecare 2025),” held at COEX in Seoul from Thursday, May 29 to Saturday, May 31.
Founded in 2017, iPIXEL is a company dedicated to developing AI-based digital healthcare solutions. The company explains that it has been contributing to users’ health by developing and operating services that support effective and active exercise and rehabilitation through intelligent training assistance algorithms.
In particular, iPIXEL is working toward integrating its rehabilitation exercise platform with hospital EMR systems. This aims to shift the base of professional rehabilitation care into residential environments, thereby improving accessibility.
At this year’s exhibition, iPIXEL showcased and demonstrated its smart exercise prescription service “Exercite Care”, This service provides rehabilitation exercise content via TV or smartphone, which users follow along with. The system uses a connected camera to assess movement accuracy, enhancing the effectiveness of the exercise.
The evaluation process uses vision AI technology that tracks physical movements. A cloud-based AI model trained on over 2,000 individual exercise motions connects with the device’s camera to monitor users’ actions in real time and points out areas for correction to help them perform proper movements—this is the core of the ExerSight Care service.
Additionally, ExerSight Care monitors whether users are following their personalized exercise schedules, allowing for gradual and systematic training. The platform also enables medical professionals to remotely prescribe suitable rehabilitation exercises, and these prescriptions are backed by accurately collected and analyzed movement data, ensuring high reliability.
A company representative stated, “Musculoskeletal disorders caused by chronic diseases and disabilities are on the rise globally, yet access to professional and structured medical services remains extremely limited. Our company has developed a solution to address this societal issue using AI technology and continues to engage in R&D and collaborate with related institutions to diversify our use cases.”
They added, “To prove the efficacy and marketability of Exercite Care, we’ve conducted multiple interactive exhibitions and received meaningful feedback from domestic and international clients. We plan to continue these initiatives and expand our service supply to rehabilitation centers, fitness centers, and specialized medical institutions.”
Meanwhile ‘Reha·Homecare’ hosted by the Korea Medical Device Distribution Association, the Korea Disability Association, and WeExpo, is a comprehensive exhibition that showcases digital healthcare, rehabilitation solutions, and wellness technologies aimed at improving quality of life in a super-aged society. It presents outstanding rehabilitation and welfare devices, homecare products, and content from Korea and abroad, with the goal of expanding the market and revitalizing the industry.
